Welcome & Valet Parking

Drive directly to the White Spirit Lodge entrance. Our valet attendants will park your car while you enjoy complimentary coat and boot check inside. A violinist welcomes guests from 3:00 PM.

3:30 PM

The Ceremony

Join us for an intimate exchange of vows, music and meaningful family traditions. Weather permitting, the ceremony may take place outdoors against the Monashee Mountains.

Part of our celebration may be outdoors, weather permitting. Please bring a warm coat and winter-appropriate boots for arrival and departure. Coat and boot check will be available at the venue.

Yes, weather permitting. Please plan for winter temperatures and wear suitable footwear.

Elegant winter attire in jewel tones and rich seasonal colors is welcome. Dress warmly for mountain conditions.

Is parking available?

Valet parking opens at 2:45 PM on January 1. Please pull up at White Spirit Lodge for vehicle drop-off; attendants will park vehicles. Allow extra time for winter road conditions.

When should we arrive?

Complimentary valet service opens at 2:45 PM. Please arrive early enough to use the coat and boot check and be seated before the 3:30 PM ceremony.

How does valet parking work?

Drive to the entrance of White Spirit Lodge and hand your keys to the valet attendant. Vehicles will be parked off-site in the Happy Valley parking area. Keep your numbered claim ticket for retrieval.

Is there a coat and boot check?

Yes. Complimentary coat and boot check will be available inside the lodge. Bring winter boots for arrival and formal shoes to change into if you wish.

What is the birthday dress code?

Casual. Valerie’s birthday celebration is indoors on Wednesday, December 30, at 7:00 PM.

What should I wear to the New Year’s Eve party?

The December 31 celebration begins at 8:00 PM. Wear a white toga or Grecian-inspired attire; gold accessories and laurel crowns are welcome.

How do I get from the airport to Big White?

Fly into Kelowna International Airport (YLW). Big White is approximately 56 km (35 miles) away, generally about 55 minutes by road. Reserve airport transportation in advance. Big White Central Reservations: 250-765-8888 or 1-800-663-2772.
